Professor Marietta Dantonio-Fryer to speak at The United States Coast Guard 2010 Diversity Leadership Summit
Marietta Dantonio-Fryer will address the United States Coast Guard Diversity Summit as well as participate in an eight member panel discussion on diversity during the Coast Guard's 2010 Diversity Leadership Summit being held April 20 to 22, 2010 in Alexandria, Virginia.
Along with Professor Dantonio-Fryer on the panel will be Her Excellency Ambassador Houda Ezra Nonoo, Kingdom of Bahrain, His Excellency Ambassador Raymond Alcide Joseph, Embassy of Haiti, Colonel Ondra L. Berry, Rev Marcia Dyson, Ms. Lynn Heffron, RADM Ronald Hewitt,Ms. Dottie Li, Ms. Christina Caballero, Dr. David Minderhout and Sister Jenna. Mr. Curtis Odom will moderate the panel.
Professor Dantonio-Fryer will also have a diplay table set-up to offer information to summit attendee's about Cheyney University where she is Chairperson of the Humanities and Communication Arts program as well as a professor of fine arts.
The keynote speaker immediately following the panel discussion will be Harriet Fullbright, President of the J. William and Harriet Fulbright Center. Professor Dantonio-Fryer and Mrs. Fullbright have served together on several panels
together and Professor Dantonio-Fryer was the driving force behind bringing
Mrs. Fullbright to speak at Cheyney University where she was honored
with and honorary Ph.D. from Cheyney.
