Saturday September 11, 2010 saw the debut of "Black Sand" at The Maryland School for the Deaf in Frederick, Maryland. In support of the movie, the cast and the movies director/producer Mark Wood, Marietta Dantonio-Fryer traveled to the school to attend the premier showing. Professor Dantonio-Fryer's cousin Joette Paulone stars in this fantastic film which was shot on location in Costa Rica last summer.
