"Art is therauputic in its conception, creation and presentation. By its very existance, art promotes wellness. To be an artist is half of the equation that brings to life the intensity of emotional and spiritual well-being. To be an appreciator of art is both the inspiration
and the conclusion of the artwork.
Art represents that very special, delicate balance that exists between logic and love. If either is out of balance, a state of tension, sadness or illness exists.
The student becomes inspired when the logic of the lesson is so balanced with the passion to create that a state of love exists in the process of creating. Conclusions of the lesson are evident in the student's work even though the student may not be aware of it, but are made obvious by the excellence and passion illuminated in the production of the work."
